Orthoptists

Are you an orthoptist?

The Ophtavenir network regularly requires orthoptists (permanent or fixed term full or part-time) for weekdays and Saturdays as well as half days in all its centres.

Orthoptists do an important job:

  • Ensure the management of orthoptic rehabilitation
  • Carry out Pre-Consultation
  • Perform additional examinations: OCT, automatic and Goldmann visual fields, biometrics, pachymetry, topographies, retinal imaging, colour vision, etc.
  • Perform an orthoptic assessment of the person’s visual abilities: diagnosis, screening, objectives and care plans
  • Conduct pre-consultation for the medical management of retinas
  • Raising awareness, informing and advising patients on ophthalmic pathologies

The consultation rooms are equipped with an automatic refractor and access to all the devices necessary for standard consultations and additional examinations (auto refractometer, air tonometer, pachymeter, automatic keratometer, non mydriatic retinograph, OCT, corneal topographer, implant calculator), binocular vision and contact lenses.
